Hi/Lo Thursday

This post is part of "Hi/Lo Thursday" on the Riggs Family Blog. Check out their blog to read everyone else's "Hi/Lo" posts and get your link on their site.

I've been praying for Abby and checking up on her for a few months now. It is so awesome to see her and her family staying strong throughout her cancer and treatments. Praise God Abby is in remission!

This week my HI would be sun and rain! I love summer and all that comes with it. The smell of fresh cut grass, blue skies, warm/hot sun, grilling with family and friends, riding my horse.....I could go on and on!
My LO this week would be getting use to life without my grandpa. He died one week ago and was an amazing 93 year old man!
Although, I think he would consider this his Hi........ since he gets to hang with Jesus!

It Gets On My Nerves

This year has been quite interesting for first grader Trey.  For some reason girls have come into the picture.
Throughout the year he has brought up who his latest girlfriend is and funny things that happen. It's always been one of two and sometimes both at the same time!
Last night Trent asked, "I haven't heard much about your girlfriends lately, what's going on?"
Trey replied, "I'm back with Tayli now, Lea has an annoying laugh and it gets on my nerves."

Tribute to Grandpa Binks

This is the slideshow I made for Grandpa's funeral.
It shows the legacy he left.
He was married to Grandma for 70 years.  They had 7 children, 27 grandchildren,
63 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was loved by everyone and didn't know a stranger.
Enjoy.

April Soccer

It wouldn't be a cold and windy April without Soccer.
Two years ago the 3 Amigos were on the same team because my sister and I coached.  This year no one coached and no one is on the same team.  I like it better when they all play together.  It's more fun and convenient!
Trey and Emma had to play against each other this year.  They don't mind.  It's their mom's that like to see them play with each other.
This will also be the first year they won't be able to all be on the same T-ball team, as they have all graduated to big kids ball and Emma now has to play softball with the girls.

We love you Grandpa!

1916-2009
Grandpa's are the best.  They love you no matter what.
He is and was very special to us.  My oldest is named after him.
He will forever be in our hearts.
He is one of the greatest blessings on White Horse Drive.

Bigger and Better

Jack is growing!  He is 4 months old and 32 pounds.  Dr. Steve says he'll be a 50 pound puppy by summer.
